Hey, I'm Dan

I'm a qualified and experienced Clinical Counsellor and Psychotherapist offering counselling and therapy services in Brisbane and online. I have a person-centered therapeutic approach, using evidence-based therapies. I work with people on a range of issues including:

Trauma counselling (such as domestic violence, sexual assault, and abuse),
Stress, anxiety, depression and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD),
Post diagnosis (or no diagnosis) (e.g. Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD), Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) etc.) counselling,
Grief and loss counselling,
Family counselling (including dyadic therapies and internal family systems),
Therapy for teenagers, and
Children's counselling (play-therapy and expressive therapies)

My counselling and therapy services are available to children (ages 4+), adolescents, teens, families, individuals and couples.

No referral or mental health care plan required to book however, please note that my services are not eligible for Medicare rebates.

My space is located in East Brisbane, where I offer in person therapy sessions with telehealth and online counselling available for anyone outside of Brisbane and anywhere in Australia through Zoom (video session).

Diploma in Counselling (TAFE Queensland).
Bachelor of Human Services, major in Counselling (University of Southern Queensland).
Clinical member of PACFA (Psychotherapist and Counselling Federation of Australia). PRN:29537.
Approved for funded sessions through the NDIS.
VAQ (Victim Assistance Queensland) approved.
Registered with WorkCover QLD and iCare (previously WorkCover NSW).
Working with Children (blue) Card (issued by the Queensland Government).
